Celebrating the 175th anniversary of the Vineyard Gazette, the forum features three renowned media and tech journalists examining the rise of Google and Facebook in news distribution, media disrupters, changing sources of financing, the role of politics and the decline in local publications. Jelani Cobb, New Yorker staff writer, journalism professor, author; Cecilia Kang, NY Times Tech Reporter; and Andrew Marantz, New Yorker staff writer will discuss. Moderated by Don Baer, Chairman of the Board of PBS, former Worldwide Chair and CEO of Burson-Marsteller, and White House Communications Director for President Clinton.
