Learn about the rich history of video art as you produce new video artworks of your very own. Concepts will be borrowed from famous video artists who have shown in places like the MoMA The Museum of Modern Art, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, and The Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston. We'll discuss where to see video art locally, the different kinds of video art that can be created, how to make a video art piece, where to submit your video creations, and more.
Each participant will leave the class with 3 new works of art! This class is for those who want to experiment with video as a medium. Let’s make some weird video art together!
Class is 3 Sessions - Wednesdays, October 30, November 6, November 13 - 6pm-9pm - with Keaton Fox | Prerequisite: Field Cameras 101
