In this hands-on stained glass course, students will have the opportunity to create their own beautiful stained glass heart, learning essential techniques along the way. The class begins with an introduction to glass safety, ensuring students are well-prepared to handle materials safely and confidently.
Students will then move on to learning how to cut glass, with guidance on achieving clean, precise cuts for their unique heart designs. After receiving their glass, students will transition into the American Tiffany copper foil technique, a classic method for assembling stained glass pieces.
Throughout the course, students will receive individual support as they progress from glass cutting to the final assembly of their stained glass heart project. By the end of the course, each student will have a completed, one-of-a-kind piece to take home, along with the foundational skills to continue exploring the art of stained glass.
