"Untitled SMiLE Project" is an new jukebox musical intertwining the melodies of Brian Wilson’s compositions with the vibrant narratives of his diverse fanbase. This semi-autobiographical journey explores neurodiversity and queer/trans joy through Brian Wilson’s SMiLE album. Through compelling, intimate interviews, the production illuminates how Brian's music has become a beacon of inspiration for queer and trans fans.
This is a reading of the project, with the intention to put a draft of the show in front of an audience to receive feedback. A talkback will be held immediately following the two hour show.
Tickets are FREE (reserve them here!) and donations are encouraged!
"Untitled SMiLE Project" is produced by Fork & Shoe Theatre Cooperative, a performance production company that focuses on interactive, accessible work, community-building puppet shows, and brass band music, all across the Boston area.
