The Brookline Arts Center is pleased to present Unframed. This exhibition will present a selection of works on paper unframed, directly on the gallery walls to explore the materiality and diversity of the media. Removing the frame allows a more immediate and intimate interaction with the entirety of the work, and emphasizes the tactility of the material.


Unframed was juried by Joel Janowitz. Selected artists include Sandra Baker, Jessica Beck, Antonio Cardoso, Heidi Caswell Zander, Daniel Feldman, Sarah Friedman, Lisa Goren, Hillary Irvine, Allison Jané, Leonie Little-Lex, Ted Ollier, Ponnapa Prakkamakul, Elaine Sapochetti, Patty Stone, Ellen Stutman and Michael Yefko.
