Our featured poet this month is Sam Cha. Sam Cha was born in Korea. He earned an MFA from UMass Boston. A very short chapbook, 5 Poems, is available from Damfino Press, and a very long chapbook, American Carnage, is available from Portable Press @ Yo-Yo Labs. He's a poetry editor at Radius. He lives and writes in Cambridge, MA.
Our featured musician this month is Choby Scheufler. Choby was born in Mexico to a Brazilian mother and Mexican father. Growing up in a household rich with these different cultures opened his mind in many ways, not only when it comes to musical exploration, but in his appreciation for the many Latin cultures in his close vicinity and in turn cultures from around the world. He started his musical studies at Academia de Musica Stratto at the age of 16 where began taking classes and started playing Bass. Knowing that music was his passion, he pursued it as he went on to study at Faculdade e Conservatório Lima in Sao Paulo Brazil as part of Berklee College of Music's International Network and in turn transferred to Berklee College of Music to finish his Degree.
