About the instructor
Anne Ku has taught the ukulele for Boston Public Library, Cambridge Center for Adult Education, Milton Adult Education, and Arlington Community Education. "Fun with the Uke" is her second book for the ukulele. She also teaches piano, music theory, and other music courses in Zoom.
About the illustrator
Based in Houston, Eve Myles has illustrated for 3 Chord Thursday and Anne Ku's music classes and ukulele arrangements.
About the location
The Walter Baker Building at 1231 Adams Street was the administrative building for Baker Chocolates, the oldest successful chocolate factory in the country. It currently houses certified artists as a living and working space with a common room for their use. This area of Boston is called Historic Lower Mills with restaurants, beautiful trails along the Neponset River, Milton Yacht Club, Cedar Grove Cemetery, and other historically significant sites.
Nearest public transportation is Milton T -- by yellow trolley from Ashmont T-station (Red Line).
