If you already know how to finger the handful of chords used in most songs and accompany yourself with the most common strum patterns, then you are ready to join other ukulele enthusiasts in exploring the vast variety of genres: reggae, Hawaiian, rock, pop, folk, jazz, and non-English songs. You will build a collection of songs, annotated with appropriate introduction, accompaniment (strum pattern), and ways to make the song more interesting than what’s written. This is a taught jam session.
This nine session course (given over a period of 10 weeks) will take you through different music genres and enlarge your repertoire of songs, strum patterns, and riffs. We will discuss how to make a song interesting and fun to play. See http://www.anneku.com/2019/02/27/charlie-on-the-mta-for-ukulele/
