For absolute, total, complete beginners --- learn how to
-hold your instrument comfortably (correct position & posture)
-tune it
-do the basic strums
-finger the basic chords
-learn a song or two


This is a pre-requisite for all other "beginner workshops" to prepare you to join our weekly ukulele jam sessions.

Free off-street parking or on the lots of Star Market (behind the Baker building, away from their entrance) at 2 River Street or CVS off Dorchester Avenue.


Historic Lower Mills is a unique area, accessible via Milton T-station (redline, Ashley-Mattapan trolley), over the Neponset River, home of the earliest chocolate factory in America. Unique opportunity to play music in this historic building with "WALTER BAKER" sign on top, hard to miss.
