Description:
We’ve made it to the 1 year mark on a project that has brought me so much hope and possibility, come through and rock out with me for an anniversary show for my EP - Trust the Process. My bro LOMAN will be setting the vibe and the amazing songwriter, producer, and vocalist - Kaiya Nyasha will be opening the night. We’ll be performing at the place that kicked off my journey as an artist in Boston - The Lizard Lounge.
About Trust the Process:
For what started as a message of support in the form of a meager painted rock that read Trust the Process (thank you Caroline Harvey), this message has domino’d into a way of being. It manifested into Tim Hall’s first self published book of poems rightfully named Trust the Process serving as an inner challenge to examine his writing practice and explore the lens he walks with in a way that was new and unfamiliar. Now, it has transformed into a body of music accompanying the words that represent a commitment to self, in the form of an EP. Trust the Process EP is just that, a commitment to wanting more for himself, and owning the journey he’s been on his whole life; it’s as if his now was already predicted.
About Tim Hall:
Tim Hall is an award winning musician, performance poet, and producer from Detroit, MI, while honoring Boston as his current home. His poetry draws inspiration from his lived experiences - charting the nuances of blackness, masculinity, and the beauties of life. Tim has shared stages with recording artists such as The Nappy Roots, Carolyn Malachi, Bilal, Chris Turner, and Aloe Blacc.
Additionally, Tim is faculty at Berklee College of Music, a member of the award winning band STL GLD, and a principal collaborator with Cliff Notez, Oompa, and Will Dailey. He was honored as “Session Musician of the Year” by the 2020 Boston Music Awards, and recognized by WBUR’s Artery 25 as 1 of 25 millennials of color impacting Arts and Culture in Boston.
