Tiny House Online


Could you live in 400 square feet? How would you fit everything you need into a small space? In this Tiny House class, we will find out what’s possible. You will learn to design and build a customized, scale model Tiny House from the ground up. Begin by creating a personalized floor plan drawing on paper. Then learn to use graphic design tools in order to translate your design to a digital format ready for laser cutting. Finally, receive your custom laser cut pieces, build, finish, and add personalized accents to your scale model. As your Tiny House takes shape, you will put into practice the principles of architecture, construction, and interior design. By the conclusion of this class, you will have built a real scale model Tiny House complete with fixtures, furniture, and landscaping. Dream big in your tiny space!


Deliveries & Manufacturing


We will be delivering or mailing class kits, student-designed pieces and parts, and fun finishing materials throughout the program. You will be receiving surprises in your mailbox or on your front steps!


Note on the location of participants: This is a weekly program that can be attended by anyone within the United States. Students within the local delivery area (5-mile radius of Coolidge Corner, Brookline, MA), will have items hand-delivered to their homes. Non-local students will need to be in a location that can receive a US Postal service delivery within four days from Brookline, MA. We can also mail items through your own UPS or FedEx account to expedite the delivery. If you plan to attend from a location outside of the local delivery area, please contact us at [email protected] to discuss logistics for mailing.
