Head to either one of the Time Out Market Bars throughout July and August to order the Cocktail for a Cause: The Mootini, a pineapple-infused vodka martini. For every cocktail sold throughout July and August, $1 will be donated to the Jimmy Fund. The Jimmy Fund is comprised of community-based fundraising events that directly benefit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s lifesaving mission to provide compassionate patient care and groundbreaking cancer research for children and adults.
The Mootini is a nod to the Dana-Farber CowParade, which lasts the duration of the summer. Time Out Market Boston is proud to be home to two cows during this year’s parade: “Pink Angus” by artist Blind Fox and “Iron Cow” by VDA Inc. The CowParade amplifies local artists and raises money for cancer research by displaying masterfully painted cows available for purchase throughout the city.
In addition to the proceeds from the Mootini, for every person who posts a photo with one of the cows and tags #TimeOutMarketBoston and #DanaFarberCancerInstitute, they will be entered to win a $100 Time Out Market Card and in the name of the winner, Time Out Market Boston will also donate $100 to Dana-Farber.
