Miki was born in Matsuyama, Japan and moved to the US to study jazz at the Berklee College of Music in 1996. She has performed in various musical settings including soundtrack work, performances at radio and television broadcasting stations, concerts at Symphony Hall, a tour of Korea, and more. Ms. Matsuki has performed with great musicians including Wynton Marsalis, Joanne Brackeen, George Garzone, Darren Barrett, Dave Bryant, Stan Strickland, Charlie Kohlhase, Eric Hofbauer, Garrison Fewell and many others. Ms. Matsuki received her MM and GPD in Modern American Music Performance from the Longy School of Music with full scholarship and the award.

Keyboardist and composer Dave Bryant is best known for his work as a member of Ornette Coleman’s Prime Time group. Bryant’s addition to the group marked Ornette Coleman’s first extended work with a keyboard instrument in decades. Starting in 1990, Bryant toured as part of the group and performed on the Prime Time “Tone Dialing” CD. During Bryant’s tenure with Prime Time, the band also performed with Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead, Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson, and numerous symphony orchestras throughout the world, including the New York Philharmonic Orchestra under conductor Kurt Mazur.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Matt Crane has been playing percussion since before he was in school. From playing in a fourth grade band on a drum set fabricated out of ice cream bins, to playing punk rock in the early eighties, to discovering jazz and playing with Ornette Coleman, his musical development has been continual and exponential. Focusing on pure improvisation since the early nineties, he currently lives and works in Rhode Island and continues to collaborate, perform, and record widely.
