Following the screening, there will be a panel discussion featuring members of the International Institute of New England and leaders of the Syrian Refugee Resettlement Team at Temple Beth Elohim in Wellesley.
Forced from their homes and separated from loved ones still trapped in Syria, four families are given eight months to resettle and become self-sufficient in Baltimore. They must learn to adapt to American life while coping with the aftereffects of their perilous escape and facing the challenges of a vast cultural divide.
