Black Box Dance Theatre (BBDT) returns to The Dance Complex with THIRST: a performance of love, loss, and longing on November 4 and 5 in addition to a series of workshops spanning from November 2-5. This performance will feature Artistic Director Michelle Pearson’s newest work THIRST in addition to a new repertory piece created during BBDT’s residency at The DC by established company member Steven James Rodriguez Velez.
Black Box Dance Theatre brings beauty and humanity to the painful feelings of want and longing associated with deep loss in Pearson’s work THIRST, commissioned for American Dance Festival in 2023.
