In honor of Black History Month, Gore Place will offer a tour highlighting the life and activism of Robert Roberts, author of the House Servant’s Directory (1827), Boston-based abolitionist, and onetime butler at Gore Place. The tour also highlights other activists and prominent Black leaders from the Boston area, some of whom worked with Roberts in the fight for equality in early 19th Century America. The tour will be offered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10 am, 11 am, 12 noon, and 1 pm. General admission is $16. Discounts are available. All Friday tours in February are free. Space is limited.
