Hummingbird Books will soon transform into a festive holiday wonderland. The charming, locally owned bookstore at The Street Chestnut Hill will bring back The Toy Shop at Hummingbird Books on November 9, turning its kids’ section into an enchanting pop-up toy shop this holiday season. The Toy Shop will be brimming with unique gifts for all ages, including handpicked toys, games, creative stocking stuffers, special surprises and more.
The Toy Shop at Hummingbird Books will once again feature a whimsical life-size Gingerbread House at its entrance. As guests pass through the Gingerbread House, they will be immersed in a special holiday shopping experience with a curated collection of toys, including several items new to the Toy Shop this year such as Clixo magnetic tiles, Fisher Price classics, and a new holiday collection from the iconic plush toy brand, Jellycat. The Toy Shop will also showcase returning favorites like Schylling, featuring their popular Needoh balls and pillows, and a variety of games for kids and adults, including card games, trivia games, and brain teaser games. Even more holiday treasures can be found among Hummingbird Books’ beloved book collection and throughout the store. More special events will be announced soon.
