THE TIME HAS COME: Freedom Rally for Iran


Iranians across the world are demanding fundamental change following the senseless murder of Mahsa (Zhina) Amini. Mahsa was a young woman whose cruel murder at the hands of Iran's regime exemplifies the barbarianism and depravity of the theocracy that has ruled Iran for over four decades.


Every group and segment of Iranian society -- women, ethnic minorities, religious minorities, political activists, journalists, labour unionists, and artists -- has been the object of this regime's repression, torture, and murder. The Islamic Republic in Iran has commited terror in its own land, in its own skies, and on foreign soil.

We are grieving, but our grief finds expression in rage: rage at those who killed our loved ones; rage at those who squandered and embezzled our national resources; rage at those who destroyed our environment; and rage at those who forced millions to escape and seek refuge in foreign lands.


As the brave women of Iran spearhead a revolution against the Islamic Republic's tyranny, we come together as people of different ethnicities, religions, and political beliefs to express that rage, and to express hope for a better future in a peaceful and democratic Iran.


On October 1st:

We come together to express solidarity with the people of Iran;

We come together to say 'Woman, Life, Freedom';

We come together to say 'Down with the Islamic Republic'.
