Whenever original music is written especially for a film or video, it's known as a score. Digital music software has made it possible for media makers to create their own scores without ever having played an instrument before. In this class, we will explore some of the rudiments of music and its relationship to visual media. Students will have the opportunity to bring their unscored video projects to class, analyze their musical needs, and begin producing their own musical score.

2 Sessions - Thursdays, February 5th & 13th - 6-8:30pm - with Brad Glanden

$90 | Register Today! Contact Ellen Daoust at 617-661-6900 or email [email protected]

Advance registration is required and is accepted on a first-come basis. Early registration is advised since courses may fill up or be canceled due to low enrollment. Members with sufficient voucher balance may register over the phone (617) 661-6900; all others must provide full payment at the time of registration. Schedules are subject to change.
