Kimpton Marlowe’s Lobby Bar goes on summer island time with a Tiki pop-up from now until Saturday, August 10th as the Sandbar drifts into Cambridge once again.
The stylish hotel lobby bar has been transformed into a Tiki-style hut complete with grass skirts, bamboo, and Hawaiian floral leis to get guests in a relaxed, ultra-casual mood, where time seems to stand still as the sun sets into the night sky outside and the magic of "Island Time" takes over. It's definitely 5 o'clock somewhere, as the Tiki-style pop-up is open Mondays through Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Helmed by Bambara lead bartender Alex Wiegand, guests will be treated to all-new Tiki cocktails, savory Polynesian-style snacks by Bambara Executive Chef David Bazirgan, and three nights with special guest bartenders making some of the fruitiest and most refreshing cocktails this side of the Pacific Ocean.
