Starting Thursday, June 16th, The Pine Bar at Boston Public Market will be open for business. Patrons can now saddle up at the bar, or grab a cocktail and walk around and shop the market. Guests can also bring their beverage of choice out to the patio.


Operated by Filmark Hospitality Group — the team behind North End restaurants Lucia Ristorante, Filippo Ristorante & Cafe, Ducali and Caffé Ducali, and East Boston’s Cunard Tavern— The Pine Bar aims to be another example of their commitment to both the North End and New England.


The sign was inspired by The European Restaurant, which was the very first Italian restaurant in Boston and operated just a few blocks from where the Market stands today. ⁠
