FAQ
Is ZuZu Wheelchair Accessible?
Yes. Zuzu is on the same level as the sidewalk, easy to get into. There is loads of seating available in the venue and we make sure to keep the bathrooms clear and accessible for those in a wheelchair or who might have other mobility issues. We aim to be inclusive here.
Are there a lot of strobing/ flashing lights?
We have some strobing and flashing lights in the venue. Mostly by the DJ booth and on the floor. If someone has a light sensitivity, we can turn them down or even off to accommodate them. We aim to be inclusive here.
What else is there to do at the night?
There are some party games we have set up in a sitting area. We usually try to have a few games out during the event. A really popular one is Big Jenga. We also have connect 4 and will leave those out for the length of the event. For this night we will have a Switch set up with N64 Online Games and 4 N64 Controllers. Please pick up after each game.
What's the age demographics for this night?
The age demographics cover everyone. We have people in their early twenties to people in their mid 50's and 60's at this night. The event is 21+ and the music is cross generational. We have gone to great lengths to be as inclusive as possible.
What's the vibe like?
We post the vibe check at multiple locations inside the club and for the most part everyone follows it and has a great time. You can see the vibe check listed in the event description above. This event hosts a lot of people in the burningman and LGBTQ+ Communities.
Is this night exclusively for LGBTQ?
No. We welcome all allies.
Is this night exclusively for burners? (burningman attendees)
No. While there are a lot of burners at this night, this night is not exclusively for burners, however if you are interested in burningman culture or might want to attend a burn in the future, this is a good place to find more info. You can also search the Burningman ten principles on the web.
What if I don't want to be inclusive?
Well this is probably not the right night for you. We celebrate radical self expression here and radical acceptance. That doesn't mean tolerating behavior you don't like, but rather being tolerant and inclusive to people who's lifestyle you may not be familiar with.
If I have a problem with another patron harassing me at the night, what do I do?
Talk to the bartender, the DJ's, or the door. We don't tolerate harassment, racism, sexism, ableism, or any other harmful attitudes or actions at our night. We will go as far as to even stop the music until the situation is dealt with appropriately if we have to.
