The Makanda Project's Dudley Library concert series moves to the Bruce C. Bolling Municipal Building in Dudley Square while the library is under renovation. This concert features innovative guitarist Michael Gregory Jackson, whose collaborations have ranged from jazz pioneers Oliver Lake, Julius Hemphill, and Leo Smith to pop icons Steve Winwood and Nona Hendryx. The program will feature some Jackson compositions newly arranged for big band by the Makanda Project's John Kordalewski, along with compositions by Makanda Ken McIntyre and Ku-umba Frank Lacy.
