Art lovers, join us for another intriguing and passionate art talk with art historian Marie-Pierre Rondeau! This time we will dive into the life and work of Edgar Degas.
Edgar Degas was one of the giants of the French Impressionist movement, yet his art cannot only be defined by Impressionism. He is equally famous for his pastel drawings, oil paintings, and his sculptures. He was perhaps one of the finest draftsmen of the late 19th century, and this lecture will look at all these aspects of his career.
This presentation will be followed by a live Q&A, so come ready with your questions! Can’t make it on that day? Sign up and ask our cultural manager to send you the recording.
