How to Transform Your Mind: Tuesdays from 7:00 to 8:00pm with Gen Khedrub
April 4: The Inner Strength of Patience
Our mind has limitless potential. But we can easily find ourself stuck in repetitive ways of thinking and behaving. Buddha taught many gentle methods to help us transform our mind and break free from old habits. Buddha also taught ways to stabilize more realistic, constructive and positive views, intentions and actions. It all starts with understanding and transforming our own mind. And we can do it!
This Tuesday evening meditation class will take a practical look at Buddha’s teachings on the nature and function of our mind. Each week will include:
February 7 - Basic mindfulness trainings
March 7 - Love vs. attachment
April 4 - The inner strength of patience
May 2 - Taking care of ourself
$12 per class. Free for members.
Monthly free outdoor meditation in the Boston Public Garden resumes in April on Fridays. And a weekly Tuesday spring series in Back Bay will start in May.
Location: These classes are held at the Church of the Covenant, 67 Newbury St.
