The Grimm Escape: A Virtual Escape Room for Teens [05/13/20]

Back with more dates through May 2020 due to popular demand! Registration is limited to teens ages 13-18; please DO NOT register for multiple dates, but please DO register on the event waiting list if your preferred date is full. All registrants will receive an essential confirmation email prior to the live event.

The Boston Public Library has partnered with the popular escape room company Puzzle Break to transport its teen patrons to The Grimm Escape, their 100% virtual escape room experience! A hardy cohort of up to 12 teens, ages 13 through 18, will venture together to a fantasy land which has fallen under the spell of a sinister witch. Only by banding together can they hope to break her curse in the 60 minutes before the land is forever hexed!

This FREE, immersive experience will push participants' problem-solving and collaboration skills as they navigate an entertaining tale with the help of Puzzle Break's live storyteller host. Designed for both novice and experienced escape room enthusiasts alike, this virtual edition of The Grimm Escape has something for everyone!

Registration is limited to teens ages 13-18; please do not register for multiple dates. Each participant must have access to Zoom videoconferencing software and an Internet browser in order to communicate and collaborate with others throughout the experience. Information to access the escape room will be sent via email prior to the event. The event will begin with a rules explanation and may not last the for the full 90-minute scheduled period.
