The Figure is Queer: a showcase of local queer figure artists. Featuring artists from 'Queer/Trans Figure Drawing' along with other local queer artists.


What does it mean to celebrate our bodies and to explore embodiment as artists, as queer people? As people with bodies who have been marginalized, deemed less than, less visible, or hypervisible, the experience of drawing and being drawn can be euphoric.


In this show, we invite you to explore with us what it means to draw, paint, celebrate a wide range of queer artists making art featuring a wide range of queer bodies.
