'The Drive to Sing' is a new documentary about the experience of choruses who found unusual ways to sing together during the COVID-19 pandemic. Car choirs began with humble experiments during the 2020 pandemic lockdowns, then spread to 21 US states and Canada by mid-2021 and appeared on the NBC Today Show. 'The Drive to Sing' tells the story through interviews and recordings of their rehearsals and performances, and features many choruses in Eastern Massachusetts and beyond. This uplifting film has been accepted to nine film festivals and is nominated for Best Documentary at the Shawna Shea Fim Festival.
