THE DIS/AGREEMENT PROJECT: 47 choreographic transcriptions
How do we broaden our sense of what matters in times of conflict?
Join us as artist/ conflict mediator Dana Caspersen discusses and demonstrates her work at the intersection of conflict engagement and choreography. This interactive presentation will illuminate her practice of creating interactive events and engagement models, highlighting her most recent work, The Dis/Agreement Project. This unique project brought together 10 artists from around the world to engage in spoken and physical conversations with people who agreed and disagreed with them on divisive topics. Artists from the project will join Dana to reflect on this practice of humanization and the resulting film and audio installations, which offer a hypnotic look into the physical experience of 47 people from 11 countries.
