The Crossing's primary ministry is providing a welcoming worship space for LGBTQIA+ folks. We joyfully lead the local Episcopal Diocese's presence at Pride and have also held space for the annual Transgender Day of Remembrance that takes place each fall. We affirm and support all identities that are cultivated with and for love. We strive for inclusive language in our liturgy, and hope to be a welcoming and safe space for all. We are also committed to lay leadership, to ensure that everyone in our community is capable of making change or supporting nourishing work as it already exists.

The Crossing is a grassroots, justice-focused, do-it-yourself church community of hipsters, heretics, homeless, and other unlikely pilgrims in downtown Boston.
General Information:
Welcome to the crossing
as in downtown crossing, our sweet spot in the heart of boston.
as in the intersection of emerging cultures and ancient christian traditions of worship, spiritual practice and community.
as in the place where each of our lives connect with god's life, and new possibilities bloom.
the crossing is the new emerging church worship community at st. paul's episcopal cathedral church - a gathering of sisters and brothers seeking to follow the radical, beautiful way of jesus; to share worship and practice that's rooted in real traditions, real culture and real life; and to celebrate at god's table, a table big enough to radically welcome every one of god's beloved children.
so join us if you want to get centered, reflect on god's word (past and present), share intentional spiritual practices, make a little music, share the body of christ, connect with god and new friends on the journey, offer your own gifts in a community that's still taking shape, or just chill and let the spirit wash over you.
