Boston non-profit honors National Child Abuse Prevention Month on April 28 by bringing community together.
The team at The Children’s Trust, who’s on-the-ground work is accomplished through a network of over one hundred of the state’s most innovative local community organizations, providing high-quality services to help families thrive and keep children safe.
In an effort to raise awareness about child abuse and neglect in Massachusetts, the rally will center around a card stunt. Each participant will hold a card that’s message is indecipherable on its own. Hundreds of participants will simultaneously hold their cards to create a clear, visual message: Let’s stop child abuse!
“We are so close to ending child abuse and neglect,” Children’s Trust Executive Director Suzin Bartley says. “It is within our reach if you have the will and commitment to do so.”
