The first annual Boston Rec Fest is a youth sports and recreation festival that the Boston Parks and Recreation Department is hosting at Franklin Park on Tuesday, April 19th. At this festival we will offer sports clinics, inflatable attractions, and recreational activities and giveaways for youth. The clinics will be run by our partners, such as the U.S.A. Tennis, Boston Bruins Foundation, and U.S.A. Pickleball. The inflatable attractions will consist of three major attractions, such as the All Star Challenge (a three part inflatable obstacle course), and eight smaller inflatables that challenge participants' athletic skills, such as the Speed Pitch and the Football Goal Kicking inflatables. In addition, partnering organizations, such as Boston Public Health Commission, will set up stations to offer giveaways to patrons.
