A world-famous author arrives in Santa Monica CA to speak to a ladies club, and unravels before our eyes due to the strain of his immense popularity.

A group of famous ladies from history (actually they are asylum patients) is having a very important meeting regarding what do about the men next door in the neighboring ward.
