Julia DeVoy (PhD, MTS, MBA, Boston College, LSEHD) will trace the current state of textile waste in the United States, its global public health impacts, and associated issues of environmental injustice. She will explore solutions that include changes individuals can make to reduce their environmental impact, as well as policies needed to regulate discarded textiles and contribute to systemic change in the textile industry.
