The Music Heals the Soul fundraiser is back in-person, at a new location, for its 21st year. Supporters can experience the healing power of music live at Belkin Lookout Farm in Natick, Mass. on Saturday, September 17 at 3 p.m. While listening to music, attendees can enjoy fall festivities, including food, drinks, and apple picking. All proceeds benefit the Leonard P. Zakim Center for Integrative Therapies and Healthy Living at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, established 22 years ago in memory of Lenny Zakim to support the mind-body wellness of patients battling cancer.
Individual registration for the fall festival begins at $150 and attendees under 18 are free. Group packages are available starting at $500, and include perks ranging from recognition on event signage to exclusive tours of the Zakim Center with its director, Jennifer Ligibel, MD. Registration is open until September 3. For more information and to register, visit www.jimmyfund.org/events/cancer-fundraising-events/music-heals-the-soul/.
The Leonard P. Zakim Center for Integrative Therapies and Healthy Living at Dana-Farber is dedicated to the belief that cancer patients can enhance their quality of life through integrative therapies such as acupuncture and massage, and healthy living programs such as exercise and nutrition counseling.
