Info: Every year the people of Nova Scotia give a tree to Boston as a way to say thank you for the assistance Boston gave after a large explosion wrecked Halifax in 1917. The 80th Annual Tree Lighting on Boston Common will be held on Thursday, December 2 from 6-8pm. Before the lighting, be sure not to miss the Frog Pond Ice Skating Spectacular at 5pm.
2) COMM AVE MALL HOLIDAY LIGHTS
Info: This is one of, if not *the* biggest annual light installations in Boston. The Comm Ave Mall will be lit for the season starting 12/2 at 8pm.
Info: The Seaport tree will be lit for the holiday season on Friday, 12/3. While you’re there, check out their “SNOWPORT” activation.
4) HOLIDAY TRELLIS AT CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS PARK
Info: On Monday, 11/22 at 5pm, 50,000 blue lights will illuminate 260 feet of trellis, along with 14 decorated trees nearby.
Info: Macy's annual holiday tree in Downtown Crossing will be lit for the holiday season before Thanksgiving.

Info: Join Martin's Park in celebrating the holiday season with their first annual Ship Lighting on Saturday, November 27th, from 4:00pm-6:00pm.
