As the cornerstone of its “Tell Her She Can” campaign to celebrate International Women’s Day, 261 Fearless will conduct a free information session for women who want to learn more what it means to be a 261 Coach and help other women become empowered through participation in a noncompetitive, nonjudgmental running program. 261 Fearless Inc. was founded by Kathrine Switzer, who – wearing bib number 261 – became the first woman to officially run the Boston Marathon, in 1967. In its effort to expand in and around Boston, 261 Fearless is seeking women who would like to help establish clubs in their neighborhood, as well as connect with 261 Fearless coaches from around the world. Motivated, patient and organized women of all ages are invited to the information session regardless of their running pace or race experience.
