Troquet on South will be celebrating the BBQ season on Friday, August 23 and Saturday, August 24. Guests are encouraged to visit the restaurant between 5 and 8 pm for their Pig Roast.
“We want to pull together members of the community, here in the Leather District, and beyond,” explained owner and sommelier Christopher Campbell. Chef Aaron Lhamon added, “We’re cooking the whole hog, and it will be served until it is gone!”
For $44, each guest receives a plate of pork, corn bread, pasta salad, potato salad, beans, aromatic rice, and barbecue condiments. Weather permitting, guests will be seated on the outdoor patio on South Street, or inside the Troquet bar.
Reservations are highly encouraged. The Troquet bar team will be at the ready with beverages such as the Pineapple Express, Frosé, and White Sangria.
