Many of society’s ills (racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, etc.) attempt to confine, seeking to dim the radiant light which is the unique beauty that exists within us all. We may be challenged to change the way we talk, the way we dress, the way we wear our hair - bending ourselves for others' comfort. But, what may happen if we’re unapologetically ourselves? Perhaps we challenge the world to bend for us!
This “Sweat 4 Justice" is about being unapologetically you. Join Ashley Mitchell, Ashley Houston-King & Stephen Gresham as they team-teach across vinyasa, HIIT, and Strength & Conditioning, and invite us to understand what it means to be free within one’s own skin - unapologetically!
Pricing: Sliding scale donations $10-$100
All donations will be split between the Blac Project whose goal is to educate, empower and uplift BIPOC youth and creatives at the intersection of art, culture, and activism & to Boston College Prison Education Program which is one of the leading higher education in prison programs in the country.
