Exposing a landscape beyond categories and classifications, the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra (CSO) brings jazz and opera to the orchestral stage in “Swayed by Jazz” on March 26 at MIT’s Kresge Auditorium. Under the direction of CSO Music Director Cynthia Woods, the performance will explore the sinuous path that brought jazz to Europe, and opera to jazz.
