The last surviving 18th century residence in Sumner Hill, a historic section of Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, the Loring Greenough House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is designated both a Massachusetts Landmark and a Boston Landmark.
House tours are available on Sundays. Come and learn about the rich history of this well-preserved mid-Georgian mansion. The house is set back from busy South Street, surrounded by stately trees, a rolling lawn, and treasured gardens.
Our engaging and knowledgeable docents will be offering tours from 1 to 3 pm each Sunday April 1st through November 18th. (Occasionally adjusted for major holidays or severe weather.)
