Henry Acker is a thirteen year old gypsy jazz guitarist in the style of Django Reinhardt and with abilities far beyond his years. After playing for only four years, he has already shared the stage with jazz greats Bucky Pizzarelli, Frank Vignola, Julian Lage, Andreas Oberg, Vinny Raniolo, Olli Soikkeli, Samson Schmitt, Mozes Rosenberg Joscho Stephane and Jason Anick. He is the winner of both the 2017 Djangofest North West Saga Award and a 2017 Downbeat Magazine Student Award for jazz guitar soloist. He performs exhilarating gypsy jazz repertoire and jazz standards along with his father Victor Acker, a Berklee alum and jazz guitarist and his Uncle Dana Acker on double bass, also a Berklee Alum. Henry’s career is just getting started but he must be seen to be believed. Ladies and gentleman, presenting Henry Acker! henryacker.com
