Alex has been in the fitness industry for over 5 years, starting his coaching career on Yale’s campus in New Haven, eventually making his way up to Boston, MA. He has worked for some well-known fitness names such as BFX Studio and Equinox, but is now coaching freelance at a private studio in the heart of downtown Boston.
His passion for strength training, kettlebells, coffee and helping others live a healthier lifestyle is what drives him to continue to learn and grow in the field. His prefered style of training ranges from russian hardstyle kettlebell to functional strength.
---
“I believe in training for everyday life, because living your life weak just isn’t fun”.
“ I like to break down my training to three simple principles, 1. Move well 2. Move often 3. Move strong.”
---
Some of Alex’s other passions include nutrition, cooking, music, fashion and Jiu Jitsu. He has worked with Lululemon in the past teaching staff kettlebell and strength training classes. Alex’s passion for fashion is what drew him to Lululemon. “ I love lululemon’s ability to mesh style, function and comfort into their pieces, especially for a trainer always on the go. Oh yeah, and pants that stretch”.
