The Animation Department presents Streaming Pegs, MassArt's first ever live, online show of animation.


Streaming Pegs is named after Squealing Pegs, the annual collection of animated work with origins dating back to 2003.


The name Squealing Pegs was derived by combining the moniker of a nearby Boston pub (The Squealing Pig) and the device used to register animated drawings (a peg bar).


The Spring 2020 version makes its online debut as “Streaming Pegs”.


Both versions are affectionately known as “Pegs”


The show will stream live on Twitch.
