Join the Kirstein Business Library and experts from asset management firm, AllianceBernstein, for an afternoon of workshops and dialogue on improving your financial literacy and on planning for retirement.
Each workshop will be followed by smaller breakout groups with financial advisors from AllianceBernstein for discussions and Q&A.
Workshop Descriptions:
Personal Finance: 4-5PM
Join AllianceBernstein financial advisors for an introduction to personal finance fundamentals. During this workshop, attendees will learn how to create and keep a budget, build credit, manage and paydown debt, and save effectively. All attendees will leave with access to AllianceBernstein’s proprietary budgeting tool for their own personal use.
Retirement Planning: 5:30-7PM
Join AllianceBernstein financial advisors as they provide an overview of accessible retirement planning strategies. During this workshop, attendees will learn how to quantify the power of tax-deferred savings and evaluate the importance of timing as it pertains to meeting retirement goals. We’ll also assess the key factors that impact asset allocation decisions within IRAs, 401(k)s, and 403(b)s.
