The majority of older adults have some kind of bladder complaint. Being in the majority shouldn’t be a source of shame. It should be a call for action. Dr. A. Lenore Ackerman of UCLA Health will identify some simple steps and other options that can offer real improvement.
Dr. Ackerman has a particular interest in geriatric urology and specializes in the treatment of men and women with incontinence, voiding dysfunction, and pelvic floor disorders. She earned a PhD in Immunology and then an MD at Yale and completed her training in General Surgery and Urology at the University of California at Los Angeles. She is Director of Research for the Division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at UCLA Health.
This program presented in partnership with Beacon Hill Village as part of their Living Well Ending Well series will happen over Zoom webinar. To attend, please register here. Registrants will receive a link the day before the program.
