StoveFactory Open Studios in Charlestown is a one-stop, all-under-one-roof art studio tour!
2 Day Event: Dec. 7 and 8, 11 am to 5 pm each day
Visit 3 floors of artists' studios and an art gallery within an industrial, redesigned factory space. Upon entering, receive a program and "punch card" to tour each of the open studios. Meet artists and learn about their processes. Fiber arts, antique letterpress printing, papermaking, painting, collage, and drawing are among the arts you'll find at the StoveFactory. Free and live demonstrations at various points will be held.
On the first floor, the StoveFactory Gallery will showcase artworks in the annual small works winter exhibition of art pieces 12" and under, which make great gifts. Come enjoy a day of browsing, learning, chatting, mingling, and maybe even purchasing art and other craft pieces!
Free parking: Non-metered, on-street parking for non-residents is OK on weekends on both sides of Medford Street. In addition, navigate to the parking lot at 511 Medford Street for free parking. Avoid risk of towing by parking only in the spots that have "Reserved for 511 Medford St." signage.
