The Story Slams at Doyles Cafe in Jamiaca Plain are up and running again for season 2018/19 The theme for the very first slam is "That Moment When" ...What's your moment?
The moment you realized you were in love? Or the moment you realized you weren't? That moment when you wished you hadn't eaten a whole pizza Or that moment when you were looking down at the scenery from the chair lift and you suddenly remembered you don't like heights? Whatever your moment of realization is come down and tell your five min. story from your life or just listen to others tell theirs.
Storyteller Gregory Breton from Rhode Island will be hosting and kicking off the first story slam of this season at Doyles with his fabulous sense of humor. He has hosted and told at many of Doyles Slams, South Coastal and South Shore Story Slams. . The winner wins $50.00 and moves onto Grand Slam Story Slam in the Spring tickets $10.00 at door or online to reserve your seat.
