The Greasy Luck Brewery has teamed up with South Shore Story Slams to bring this first story slam to the brewery. The theme is "Making Waves."
Have you made waves? At the beach or in the office? Do you know that person at the meeting who always has a little more to say than anyone else wants to hear? Are you that person? What about social justice? Shaking things up for a cause? What’s your story?
A Story Slam is a competition based on the art of telling stories about real-life experiences on a specific theme and within a set time limit; modeled after The Moth (www.themoth.org) .
Members of the audience (Tellers) from all walks of life and every age group drop their names in a hat for a chance to tell a five-minute true story on the theme “Making Waves .” Some people love to just come to listen to others tell theirs.
The brewery has brews, food, and valet parking for your convenience.
