ART BLOOMING 

A workshop on self-expression through colors and shapes

Spring is here and flowers are blooming everywhere: in the fields, on trees… 

Beautiful flowers need beautiful pots, and both flowers and pots are wonderful

subjects for an artist because of their shapes, colors and textures. During this

workshop we will be experimenting with paper-cutting, painting and collage

to create vibrant spring-inspired works that are a joy to behold...

and joyful in the making !

THE SHADES OF BLUE 

A workshop in dialogue with the Fado Diorama exhibition 

Azulejos are the beautiful painted tin-glazed ceramic tiles that you can spot everywhere in Portugal: they are found on the interior and exterior of churches, palaces, ordinary houses and even subway stations. Inspired by the Fado art exhibition, participants to the workshop will be led in the creation of a personal artwork exploring several shades of the blue color, and using cut-out techniques to create geometrical patterns.
